Even though that is not cheaper than Ben at Rg Sport, I would not buy it that way. If you install it wrong (happens, even though it is super easy to install), you don't have the support Ben can provide. That support is priceless.

Forgive my ignorance: I see the X5M calls for 93 octane, but allows 91 octane. This suggests to me the car is already pulling timing/boost on 91 octane. If so, wouldn’t these chips be wasted on cars limited to 91 octane?

You should call up RaceChip HQ and find out. Seems like they are hurting for sales or know more than I do where they can give out 25% off while most dealers only get 30% off, lol.
