Cargo cover storage
I think I have the answer but just checking in case…
I’ve seen some videos of the X5M Comp (like Joe Achilles), where in the trunk, there is a track on the bottom and a button on the left that makes the cargo cover retract or hide in the floor. I’m assuming absent not having a spare tire and opting for run flats (no thanks), there isn’t a cargo button like this? Is there anywhere to hide the cargo cover in the trunk manually? (Like a space in the spare space to put it) Thanks (I have an x3m now and if we take the cargo cover off we have to bring it inside to avoid having it loose in the car)

But this isn’t fully accurate, thus the purpose of my question The x3m (f97), loses the space for the cargo cover if you have the space saver spare/raised floor Which is why I was wondering if the F95/G05 with space saver spare, has room for the cargo cover or not

Not sure but I don't think this was an option for the X5M Comp. At least not in the US. I’m assuming absent not having a spare tire and opting for run flats (no thanks), there isn’t a cargo button like this? No option for run flats on M vehicles. Is there anywhere to hide the cargo cover in the trunk manually? (Like a space in the spare space to put it) Yes there is a dedicated spot for it, because the X5M does not offer a spare tire option. At least I have never seen this option on their build site or on one in the wild and wasn't on mine.

That is super interesting... that means they all come with one and you must opt for the removal. Thanks for confirming. So does your cover store by it or no?

Thanks. You beat me to it. The cargo cover does get placed between the spare tire and the tow hook. As I recall, the X5M/X6M's in the US come standard with an inflator kit. But a spare tire is a no cost option. Most dealers don't even realize it's available.
