btw, SpeedyDad my status changed to "At the Port" today. So, about a day in SB as had been the usual for months ....
you seriously need to have a chat w/ Genius and get their status. Have your CA (Client Advisor is the proper term btw) get some info is possible from their ordering manager or Sales Manager and also give you the BoL.
Then follow the steps to track your train. Mine left SC days after yours and is showing ready to be pulled off the train and sent to my dealer.

here is the tracking info I got:

AbleDanger Good to hear that your CA gave you the BoL#. I asked for mine and was turned down. I was expecting the train to arrive in the Renton Rail Yard on 12/4 and it still hasn't arrived. I'm stuck waiting on updates from my CA. Hopefully you don't have any delays either. I was tracking with another bimmerpost member. We both left the KC rail yard on 11/18. His arrived on 12/1 (If I remember correctly) which was 3 days early. Mine will get here eventually, it's just hard for me not to know where it is since I like to know every step. haha

Let the Sales Manage know you are trying to get the BOL but your CA isn't able/willing to give it to you. There should no reason not to have it.

Yeah that doesn't make sense. Mine simply sent me a PDF print preview of the tracking screen they use on their end. Didn't hesitate at all. Unless your CA is thinking it's something more than it is...

I'm surprised you haven't received your car yet since I thought we were on the same train. Mine arrived at Renton on 12/1, the dealership in Portland on 12/2, and I took delivery on 12/4. Hopefully you get yours soon!

Shllshck I placed my order August 6th. It's been a bumpy ride.

PseudoPsam From what I have seen since around build week 33, PNW deliveries have been from 3-5 weeks from dispatched.

I am in the same boat (or rail car) and posted in the Week 44 thread. Impatiently waiting since "dispatched from factory" on Nov 2.
Now "at port" as of Dec 6th.
BMW Genius is not much help and CA won't provide BOL or anything else really.
It's close and TurtleBoy has given me more confidence to just be patient.

Thanks for all the help everyone. I pushed my CA based on the info provided here about the BoL and he eventually called the rail yard and got confirmation that my X5 will be trucked to the dealer on Monday.

I'm tracking 2 (I hedged my bets)... but the one I am wanting the most - perfect order - just hit 'At the port' on MyGarage. Just like others have noted, phone tracing with Norfolk Southern seems to lag - it's showing in middle of nowhere Illinois still. So here's hoping BNSF can get 'er to Renton/Orillia by the Dec 24 ETA (16+ days away...can't see how it can't be doable).

The other one I was tracking, near perfect order, is a few days ahead, but I am not tracking that one via phone tracing. That dealer said he'd give it 50/50 shot on getting delivered to me by 31 Dec... while the one noted above seems to think it'll make it no problem, albeit close, by 31 Dec.

Congrats! stingystew How long did it take to get to you (when did it dispatch from the factory), and what approx. location are you in CA? We are close to San Bernardino, and are anxiously waiting and trying to gather as many data points as we can.

Since mine hit St Louis, I haven't heard a peep from NS's phone tracker. Last update was Departed on flatcar, St Louis (sounded like `MayFtca`) , MO, December 8, 7:06 pm. It switched to port at some point prior to that, and is in transit for its journey to the PNW (Seattle). It's somewhere out there... just stinks can't even get a delayed location.

Edit - last update: Departed Ferguson, MO scanner at 2152 on 12/9. At this rate, considering it switched 'at port' and then 'in transit' I'm just assuming the status is way out of date.

Thank you, this is some good info.

I'm not sure though what is going on with ours. It was built on Tues, Dispatched from factory on Wed afternoon, we got the BoL from our CA on Thurs, but it has stayed on Dispatched since then and the automated line has only ever said "No tracing information available" each day (incl. today). It's frustrating. (I double checked the BoL #, we have it in a screenshot of the status screen from our CA)
