Yes. I also don’t have the trailer hitch option. I think all 50i’s have additional cooling radiators.

If your car is equipped with the intercooler then make sure that the opening is actually there like it should be. There has been and still is an issue with the G05 and now the G07 where cars that are supposed to have the opening don't. BMW is well aware of this issue but has decided to ignore it. The opening is supposed to be in the right front of the bumper and there is also an opening in the right front wheel well.
There are a few cars that actually come equipped with an intercooler on both sides so both sides of the bumper are open. It's entirely possible that one side will be open while the other side is closed off and this is also incorrect.
