Carly does not do ASS at the moment, but Bimmercode responded by email saying that they do allow it now, as they said nothing else is programmable now.
If you are fan of sport mode, just switch to sport and ass automatically gets into off position.
I tried to code ASS in bimmcode last night and couldn't do it. The only ECU I could get to load was Roof/Alarm. The Engine Control unit was available (I'm assuming that's where ASS is) but it wouldn't load. Note engine was off and I was in debug mode as the app requires.
Same thing happened to me. ECU is green but nothing loads.

Any update on what can be coded on the G05? I've reached out to a couple companies but other than start/stop and closing tailgate with the fob, I haven't found much else. Anyone making progress?

You can turn off the wireless charging tray in the iDrive settings. Don't recall the exact location of the setting, I think it was under the general settings.

I see only Active reminding in charging tray section under general setting. The thing is now it getting hot and blow out the hot air and all entire center console is hot too.

According to the drives guide app, activating the wireless charging tray is under:

CAR -> Settings -> General Settings -> Wireless charging tray

Disable seatbelt chimes
I can close the trunk from the inside button, try to press and hold for a while it should work

Increased seat heating/cooling
change some things in my display

Im sure there will be more...

Also, what are other options that you all want to get coded in?
I will be in the same boat within the next two weeks 😳

Code My Car has been GREAT in the past

See - http://www.codemycar.com/

I have worked with them on my past 2 X5s -- great results.

Their web site currently lists the G05 as available for coding.

Anyone check them out yet?

Yep - he did my E70... they recently did some coding on my 2019 X5. At the time they were limited in what they could do (ASS disable/memory, Defeat seatbelt warning light and chimes, close tailgate from key fob, and a few other things.

He’s learning every day and (my guess) should be among the earlier coders to get at more coding options.

Be patient on email - he’ll come around.

If there is anyone within about 75 miles of Hagerstown, MD that can code my X5, I would be happy to drive to your location and pay a reasonable fee to have my car coded so the automatic start stop would remember the last setting instead of defaulting to ON every time the vehicle is started. Feel free to send me a private message. Thanks.

I'd recommend using the Bimmercode app on your iPhone/Android. Its simple and quick and you can do it yourself. No coding knowledge required, just tap a couple buttons. And you can re-do it if the setting gets turned back on by the dealer during maintenance.

I did it in about 3 mins...well worth the ~$60 for the app + the OBD2 adapter.

You need the BimmerCode app, not the BimmerLink app. There is an in-app purchase inside the BimmerCode app that you would need to pay for, however, to be able to code the car. The free app just let's you see what you can code.

Hi,
I took delivery last Thursday. My car is US specs but I am in Germany. Needless to say the Connected drive does not work, I cannot even make a profile. The apple play is the same. Does coding the vehicle will void the warranty? I am new to this coding thing.

Ok. That is why ConnectedDrive does not work.

Unclear on warranty. Most of the time, no.

I have a general formula for NGHB. But, have not tested.

In what other coding are you interested?
