Perhaps you should post the Cayenne too. Be better than click bait...
I wish they tested a 50i with DHP because the anti roll bars will make a difference

Yep, perhaps they will also test one. The moose test is cool to way h because you can see how the car handles under different conditions than the usual

interesting. Never heard of the moose test before. Looked pretty solid through the slalom even though they state it was only satisfactory, how much better do you need for this size and type of vehicle. I would say overall BMW did another great job with the new x5.

Narrator mentions that the X5 has rear steering (2VH IAS) in the video which is included in DHP (ZDH) on 50i.

edit: looks like a F15 X5M in this video but it stays way flatter due to the anti roll bars (or better suspension) despite being heavier of course. This should at least give you an idea of what I mean by saying they help a lot.

Wondering how much IAS contributed to the agility of the X5 during the tests.
It performs more than adequate for 80% of consumer X5 owners.

You're absolutely correct, forgot diesels use heavier blocks.

Me too. I have put my 50i M-Sport through my mountain roads at way beyond even sporting speeds and it was amazingly composed. These are the same roads I put my 911 C4S on and shockingly the big SUV performed beyond what I expected it to do. A SUV regardless what you do to it will never handle like a 911 but it certainly handles like a sports sedan and that’s quit a achievement.
