Does anyone use Flickr?

I've always used Photobucket but want to make a switch. I tried both Google photos and Flickr to share on the forum but it only gives me the URL and not the HTML/BB Code that I would need (from my understanding). Not sure why they made those websites such a pain.

Does anyone know a way around this?

Only really to post photos to sites like this. You have to select download for your photo, then choose the size and it will generate a jpg URL like you need so the IMG tag can be placed around it and work like so:

It should just open a new tab in your browser.

Hm, when I click download, it pops open a small tab that asks if I want to download. After clicking download for the second time, it downloads on to my computer. I am using the Mac. Maybe you have Flickr pro?

Really appreciate the help by the way!!

I use flicker.... Free 1TB of storage. You can upload images from flicker to the forum.

1. Go to your flicker page
2. Click "photo stream" or "albums"
3. Look for the image you want to upload, and click that image.
4. There will be a arrow symbol pointing right on the bottom right corner of the image. If you put your curser over the symbol it says "share photo". Click on that symbol.
5. Another box will appear and you click on "BBCode" on the top right corner of the box.
6. A URL will show and copy the URL. Under the URL link, you can also adjust the image size. Once you find the right image size you just copy the URL link.
7. Go back to M3post to post a image
8. Click "post reply" and it will take you the page where you can find the "insert image" icon and click that. Its like a small square icon that has mountain image.
9. Paste the URL link from flicker.
10. Click "submit reply" and your image is on the forum!

Make sure you use the actual image souce. If you are looking at yor image on the imgur website, right click it and select "open image in new tab". Then that link should end in .jpg or whatever your photo format is and that's the link you want to put.

Why do you think Imgur is better than flickr or any other free file sharing?

I need a backup too since my photobucket is useless.

Well I did a quick VS search and looks like Flickr is better for like, photography pictures and the likes. You can see picture metadata I believe.

I personally use Imgur for sharing pictures with firends and posting them online. I'm sure you can do the same with Flickr.

Flickr is fine, minus all the extra HTML you need to delete once photos posted. (Have yet to quick fix this other then manually sort each link)
