X5MC is awesome....these 0-60 numbers are almost identical to X3MC....3.8 secs? X3MC with 503HP (In-line 6) and X5MC 625HP (V8)....I'm guessing it's the weight that makes this so close? Of course the X5MC interior is more luxurious than X3MC..... the cost difference is dramatic....hmmm....

I am 6'3" and 270lbs and I sat in the X5M and X6M at the LA Auto Show and immediately realized the thigh bolsters were way more aggressive than my 2017 X5M. I would not be comfortable in it as a daily driver unless I lost some weight, so maybe that is some motivation. The RR Sport SVR seats are like Lazy Boy seats compared to these for big guys

The F85/86 seats are great but these F95/96's look great too, like a combination of the M5's and M8's with very nice grip in the middle. If seats are your thing though go for the new M2 CS, those seats look so damn good!!

You never drove it so I don't know how you can hate the seats :

I like the way it looks comfort is something I can't judge by the picture.

This will be by far better SAV then the F86 in any category.
It has the same seats as the M5 and the x3m/x4m has similar version of the seats. I was contemplating an M5 comp and the seats turned me off (I am now waiting to see the m8 comp seats, but the seats in the launch m8 convertible have given me hope that I'll like the m8). Visually, I can tell that the x5m/x6m have the M5's seats. I was hoping the x5m/x6m would have individualized seats like the F85/F86.....
Seats on M8 competition are very similar to the F90
I almost took it home a month ago
Agreed. But the headrest on the m8 is has a much slimmer profile and that makes the m8 seat a better fit for me. My gripe about the M5/x5m/x6m seats is about the headrest, I have no issues with the rest of the seat.

Heh, one man's trash truly is another man's treasure....I would LOVE to get my hands on a pair and modify them to work in my E70. I think they look awesome.

I would hate to have to wipe down a white steering wheel twice per day just to keep it presentable.

I know, but I mean you already have the incredibly hard to clean/keep clean white seats, so adding a white steering wheel wouldn't be the end of the world, or they could have at least made it brown, or done a combo of the two similar to Volvo.

Either way, its a little too much brown for me in the end, but I love the night blue interior that the X5,7, and now 8-series have, I think its the perfect color combo - as long as you keep it clean!

Regarding the seats, I have found that the side bolster width adjustment has a huge impact on comfort. Having them tighter actually causes back pain even though theoretically it should not change the lumbar support (it does though). There are so many adjustments it has taken a few weeks to get my M5 seats dialed in and I am still making small adjustments.

Love them but I just think the wheels look a bit too small for those monsters
