Update - I again tried to pair my P8P via a shared key that was working on my S21+. Initially, the shared key on my P8P, as before only worked to open the doors not start the car. A few days ago, on the off chance I threw the P8P in the charging tray to see if it would pair and the device was recognized and the car requested I enter the appropriate TAN, which I did. The shared key on my P8P now works to lock/unlock/start - very strange and unpredictable. The question is should I unshare - and try to make my current P8P the primary DK or just leave all alone. I am still not 100% confident though of going keyless. Good for just a backup/emergency.
