As promised. I spent time today to test wheel spacers on G05 X5.

Here what I gathered today.

Conservative setup: 12mm front and 15mm rear
Aggressive setup: 15mm front and 20mm rear

So, here is the picture from front and rear for comparison.
More pictures you can find on the build thread that I will compile soon.

Feel free to ask any question or PM me for quotes.

Wheel Torque information:
- Factory recommendation 103ft-lbs, I normally put 105ft-lbs.
- Conventional wheel spacer (non wheel adapter design), I normally put 110ft-lbs.

Attachment 2029644
Ben from https://www.rgsportshop.com/ installed IND side reflectors and 12mm front/15mm rears wheel spacers. No more amber reflectors on the sides and wheels looks much better with spacers.

actually I see some on amazon. I know 47mm is ideal, but the sizes I'm seeing are 45mm and 48mm. What's better in this situation?

Thanks!

In my opinion this is the perfect sizing for the car. The wheels are flushed with the fenders and yes that 1mm / 3mm does make a difference.

13mm front
18mm back

I ended up with:

15mm front
17.5mm rear

To me it is perfect. I'll post pics tomorrow.

sacsha1 Looks Good! What spacers and new bold size did you use?
Are those 740m or 741m wheels? Any side angles?

I have 12 and 20mm spacers from RGSport on my 20” 740m non-lowered X5. I’ll post pics soon. I’m pretty happy with the choice. I’m glad I didn’t go with anything smaller. If anything, maybe I would have gone 15/25.

Here are pics of my non-lowered 2021 X5 with 20" 740m wheels after installing 12mm front and 20mm rear spacers. As I mentioned before, I'm glad I didn't go with smaller spacers. If I did it again, I would probably go with 25mm in the rear. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, no. 11mm is the smallest.

Socaldriver can you post a full side view pic? I’m debating the same mods for my AGM m50i.

Anyone have feedback to this thread which seems to indicate all the con's to spacers? I'm about to put mine on 12/17 I think . . .
