And what about PHEVs?

I noticed many cargo mat manufacturers exclude hybrids because of, allegedly, different trunk layout (with battery, and such).

Does anyone have good experience with it? Looking for recommendations.

I purchased a Taxmat for 2024 X5 last week, and now the dealer has sent me a BMW OEM Mat Free (without asking). I jokingly said while picking up the car that the last 2 cars came with the mats. He said he would look into it.

Let me know if anyone is interested in a Taxmat set for X5 in the Seattle area. Otherwise, I will return it.

velcro?

I have had the liners in mine for 3 winters now and I really like them. One of the things that people rarely discuss is the how well they clean up after the winter. Every spring I remove them, wash them using a little soapy water with a soft bristled brush and they look like new again. Well worth the cost in my opinion. Btw, I also really like the pattern on them and the feel of the material, which seems to be somewhat of a cross between plastic and rubber. They fit very snugly and are held in place with a very simple velcro-like material.

Were all 4 of your all weather mats delivered with velcro on the underside? My new 2024 X4 only had the velcro on the driver mat, not the other 3 mats, seems odd to me.

My 2024 X6 only had them on both front mats. I purchased these from Lowes for the back and they work well.

Correct, BMW OEM doesn't come with velcro except drivers side mat. Dealer send me a set couple of weeks ago and I was wondering about that as well.

Ok, I will answer my own question.
https://a.co/d/5oNMeBj this cargo liner fits my 2022 45e perfectly, despite that the seller said opposite.

Is the TPE top material grippy for the 3D MAXpider Custom Fit Kagu Cargo Liner? I need something rubbery to prevent 5 gallon water bottles from sliding.

How about the Tuxmat? is it grippy as well?

Thanks

It’s grippy enough for the 3D Maxpider, not extremely rubbery but the thermoplastic rubber top material works well (at least for my use). I can’t speak for the tuxmat liner.

I see you're in Canada, but are we talking real snow, or 2 centimeters of snow in British Columbia?

The point here is that the installed mats aren't too spendy, look half decent, and hold up reasonably well. You can burn through one set and just buy another afterward while spending half of the cost of many of the 32 oz slurpee mats.

The win there is you have a nicer carpet instead of a rubber mat. On the downside you're giving up protection from dropping a 32 oz Slurpee on the floor. The thing is... Do you need protection from a 32 oz slurpee?

If you've got to deal with snow and all that, well, it's liner action. But do you?
