2022 X5M Comp seat bolsters

Just 300 miles so far. Still in the break in period but having a blast driving the car. Can't wait to open it up after the break in period.

Just curious does anybody else find the lower seat bolsters get in the way when entering or exiting the drivers seat? Do you try to avoid the bolster or just sit on it and slide across it? They seem quite firm and like they will hold up to that well.

I use the 1 and 2 seat positions based on driving or existing. I use position 1 to push the seat as back as possible allowing me to exist without rubbing the bolster.

Also treated seats with Colourlock Leather Shield, doing a 3 month application cycle. Hopefully this will provide protection from dye transfer and the occasional rubbing especially in the bolster area.

I noticed it at first (after a switch from the X5 M50i) - but I don't any more - all seems "normal". All about acclimating...

If you don't try to go over the bolsters, or at least be very light on them, they'll show wear prematurely and get worse creases.

Are you using this as a protector or as a cleaner? I have the ivory white/blue interior and I’m looking to protect the seats from dye transfer and wear as well.

Based on the product description it doubles as both.

I dont have an X5M but I did have 2020 X5 with M Sport.
The entry and exit to the vehicle is most of the times cumbersome. It seems the seats are too high up and the side sill is too far out.
That resulted in accelerated left seat bolster wear and dirty pants LOL.
I dont have these same issues on my 2022 X3MC.
Is the X5M similar to the X5 40i?

The bolstering on the F95 is much more pronounced than in the G05

I'm a bigger guy (250 lbs.. no, not all fat).. the seat bolsters sort of dig into my legs on longer trips. The seats are less comfortable than my G05 X5 50... but I don't care.... I just put down my right foot and completely forget about my sore legs

They’re not seat bolsters….they’re nut busters!
