X5M Winter Tires?

Just took deliver of my X5M Comp! I live in the Pacific NW so I will need some winter tires come fall. I drive between Portland and Seattle several time a month (lots of rain) and to Montana a few times a year (snow and ice). I'd appreciate any recommendations on a set of winter shoes. Do any exist that I can have put on my existing wheels or will I have to buy a second set of those as well? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Pirelli Scorpion Winter are your only real option. I suggest buying and storing at least the rear tires before fall comes as they have been very hard to come by during fall/winter

as mentioned above your only option is Pirelli Scorpion Winter. Buy or put an order for them now..I was waiting 2 months to get the rears in stock, then tire rack shipped them with Ontrac and then they claimed they delivered but I never got them (probably their driver stole them)so had to reorder them and it took another 2 months

I got a winter wheel and tire set with the same size as X5mc stock with Michelin pilot alpin tires. I have not used them yet but have been told that they are great.

Very happy with the Michelin Pilot Alpine 5's.

Ordered the BMW winter wheel package end of August '21, arrived February '22

Pretty sure it was supply chain issue, but would order what you want now.

The extra set of wheels w the michelins would have been nice but the extra $3k held me back. Plus I get to keep my 818s on all year
