Android Auto is full screen now!

I don't know if it's a new update on my Android Auto or what, but now I can get it in a full screen now even with You tube music songs on.

Yep, now if they can just fix it so that my bass doesn't drop to nothing when playing music with AA apps.

Same here, full screen maps is nice. I noticed it this morning.

I am still having issues with the GPS signal not being found. It could be my phone or coverage but I didn't have this problem until recently, same phone for several years.

Does that occur only when your phone is locked?

Good question. I usually just plug my phone into a charging cord. I will be sure to unlock it next time and see if it makes a difference.

I don't know about Waze, but for Google maps, when I start it, it splits to YouTube music and the map. You need to press that maps icon on the top left of the screen and it will turn it to full screen.

Google maps is the only app I'm seeing as being able to go full-width in the new AA update. I like the changes. Someone tell me if there's another app or method to make others full screen but I'm not seeing it.

Using Waze or Google maps? I just had an issue where Waze would freeze....After some googling, turning of locations devices to the android auto app in the phones settings fixed it. I have no idea why it just recently started.

I am making sure my phone is unlocked as soon as I enter the vehicle and it does seem to help but often it still takes a while for the circle to change to an arrow. Does it matter if the phone is wireless? Pretty sure my settings are for wireless operation.

No, I'm using mine wirelessly and never have my phone unlocked and have had zero issues
