Hard to improve on the G05, one of the few cars where I'd call the design "perfect".

The exhaust bezels appear to be a tad more appropriate for a high HP V8 SUV.
The tailights are well hidden by the camo in these pics. From what can be gleaned this appears to be a light but favorable makeover. Thanks for posting! |

Looks similar to the X3 LCI. I think the M-Sport front bumper is a nice upgrade. New DRL pattern from the 3 series LCI.
Curious to see what's the update to the taillights. Looks like it got rid of the of the current gap slots in the middle. Side profile looks identical to the current car, which is expected for most LCI. The interior will see some major updates to iDrive 8 similar to the X7. Overall, I think BMW is doing a good job with the LCI. No surprises. |

If this is an actual photo of the final LCI product then I am all for it. Looks great, fresh but not any kind of a radical change.
I can see what you mean about a pointed profile which works nicely as the current generation that I have is a bit more "flat faced". Great refresh, hope it comes through this way. |

Am i the only one who loved the large "fighter jet intake" style intake (whether fake or not) at the bottom sides? I know they have to move on with design but I feel like this is a downgrade...

Yep, I'm a big fan. They look a lot more aggressive than their pre-LCI counterparts. If you had the option to spec the M-sport seats in an X5 M60i, it be a tough decision to jump to the X5M... even as-is it's certainly a closer call with an SUV (especially given then S68) than looking at that decision from a sedan or coupe perspective.

Not a huge fan of the new LCI lower exterior air intakes on the front bumper with that awkward triangular designs. I know it's going on all the models top down but I think I preferred the pre LCI for that aspect.

Proof BMW can still make a good looking front end if they truly want to.
