I was just watching a review of the latest X7 with the new idrive 8 screen. It looks great! That backlit glass trim that runs across the dash is gorgeous! Is the X5 LCI expected to have that piece as well?

Do we know the difference between shadowline trim and "Extended shadowline trim" (just curious). Also, will we have the choice to not have the kidney grille illuminated if we buy the M Sport Pro package? (I am not sure I am a fan) Lastly, what is "Shadowline Lights"?

Why is BMW copying Tesla?!

The dumb Alibaba ipad screen, lack of physical controls, removal of gear shifter are all terrible changes. At this point might as well just get a Tesla…..

The physical gear and buttons as well as idrive wheel are still in the center console. Its a good combo of touch screen and buttons. I know the HVAC system buttons are gone but are on the screen...
