Hope new interior and 80mile range on the 45e without adding weight will be a win.

The 2011 E90 3 series models came out early like in April of 2010. I know because BMW installed LED tail lights on the 2011 model year 3 series. My poor 2010 M3 had the old candle incandescent powered tail lights.

If only they brought back the diesel version in the US😔 that's the best combination off power efficiency and usability, but no they got to invest in that electric bs which as of right now does not make sense to own no benefits, Over the diesel variant. That's why holding on to my f15 35d as long I can at least until someone can produce a car that can reliably put down 600 torqe 400 hp and still average 35mpg on the highway cruise as of right now no replacement for the f15. Of course rest of the world still gets the diesel variant just not the US f that current politics, what's ironic is that all off the diesels are produced in US at South Carolina plant and exported to other countries, but no we cannot have diesel in US that's wrong 😑.

Also do i agree. I do love the diesel. I have the eu 40d 313hp and its great in terms of range etc however for the highway cruise if i step on it lets say 110 mph ( dont ask) it really starts consuming hard 😁. Reasonable speeds, sure. But also my car specificslly has started to age. Its a 2015 so valve cover needs to be done soon. Chains hopefully i can pass on to next owner as mileage is low. Im personallt considering the 45e because while no diesel, for city driving in my specific aplication would be more than enough to very rarely have to start the actual engine. 40d we still have in the eu with a mild hybrid but to be honest would love to have a bit more power as ive grown veery used to the 313hp. Especially after going on a road trip in a 750i. Obviously different cars but the power amount even for such a heavy car seemed ace. 50i too expensive at this point. Pandemic has made the cost even for preownwd stupid high. |

The LCI has always been scheduled to start production on 4/23 as a MY24.

Beat me to it... I was about to post "imagine an X3 then increase that image in your mind by 25%." Either way what good is an LCI release if there is chip and parts shortage?

It would depend when it was released. They may do Europe and other markets with the initial rollout and have the MY start in the US in August like it has been starting. If that is the case then you could likely order in July or so.

They can sign deals and contracts but it is all subject to availability and anything in-between. Again; all this is nice but if they're going to sell them as less than base models then who would want that?

It is as certain as it can be at this point. ynguldyn has never been wrong about the model information he provides as far as I know. Obviously schedules change but we will know about it as soon as possible.
