The correct rear diff oil should be 83222447362. That's the P/N that was listed on my 1200 mile service. It's a G4 Hypoid axle oil with the correct additives for a 2020-2023 X5M or X6M. You'll need (2) 500ML bottles.

The truth is that I took the car there because it is closer to me, but I immediately called another dealership, the parts department and they told me that they had enough left for a car, so I called my friend who works there as a SA just to make sure it was ok to take the car at that moment and he said yes, two hours later he sent me a message letting me know the car is ready, I never mentioned anything to him because I was embarrassed, I should of go since the beginning, it bothered me that they told me that it could be weeks without oil and I had to use the loaner, when I asked if it was possible to use another brand, they told me no, only use BMW and that if I went over 2500 miles without the service my warranty would be canceled

This part is actually partially true. I think it's 1700 miles. You get a little bit of grace period but not much. Your car does get flagged and it affects your ability to get some warranty work, extended warranties and also CPO status. Glad you got it worked out.

Mine got held up a few days because the dealer couldn't get the diff fluid. It's important because they have to look for metal shavings in the fluid. Not catching that early can lead to pretty pricey problems.

I was informed by the BMW NA executive customer service representative 2,000 mile grace period for the M models for "break in service".

This is a good video that explains why break in service is 100% required. This is an M3 video but it applies to all M cars for the reasons explained in the video.
