I like those wheels, but not nearly as much as that alarm clock. Come on BMW! That’s where the money is at!

Yeah, that one-off is located at the ///M Studio. Interesting vehicle for sure.
I have heard that they use it at times to haul parts around.

Yep, I remember reading about the Giftschrank (Poison Storage) a while back and they also have an E30 version of the ute as well to use. I would love to visit the Giftschrank, they have all the cool one-off's that never made it into production from the E46 M3 Wagon, X5 V12, Original M8, and a V16 E38 7er. Some awesome cars.

Noticed that too. Do we have any info on what the first full electric M car will be? An M2e perhaps similar to the Lotus/Tesla first go? Or probably more like an M5 based on the iX or whatever...

Wasn't too sure about this whole M Town thing, but this behind-the-scenes video and the attention to detail and the kitchi way of doing things as well done.

Regarding the performance wheel/rim, please offer it in Satin Black or polished aluminum.

And I'm the one who came up with a concept of factory satin/matte finished frozen paint colors years ago. They look great in the video unfortunately the up charge has become too expensive 💸. BMW needs to lower the price on the paints 🎨!

LTW and CRT together is a nice sight.

I guess they were trying to mimic a hypebeast clothing drop with this ad, idk. Whatever, the classic BMWs were the highlight.

Yep, even noticed every person in the ad was a millennial likely under 30, didn't realize they could afford M5's and M8's

That's cause they're all TikTok influencers and don't have real jobs. Lol!

Nice cars, but the entire advertising campaign continues to be cringeworthy.

Just be British, start a YouTube channel and be good at getting up people's asses to gain access to press cars and events.

I used to work for a certain luxury car manufacturer that had a partnership of some sorts with two certain British automotive YouTubers; it was clearly outlined in the marketing strategy what information and narrative their videos would have.

Or just be born into a rich family, like the guy "gercollector" shown in the ad, recording a video in the M3 CRT. Guy flexes dad's cars on the gram and IRL in Munich where they go out to town centre with supercars and big teddy bears in the passenger seats. He's now getting (not only) BMW M press vehicles.

Gotta respect the hustle, that's all, y'know.

What's really interesting is that the M Works' E9x Pickup was unveiled in 2011 and looks to be an LCI model (i.e., tail lamps), which made sense timeline-wise as the LCI E92/93 began from March 2010 production (as MY 2011), but as we see in the video, it has the pre-LCI center console and CCC iDrive controller.

Talk about parts bin!
