Should see an accelerated release for the diesel. EPA has cleared BMW from additional auditing and they are back on the (still very short) self-certification diesel approved list.
On the V8 petrol, there's answers hiding in plain sight. Think short stroke |

Anyway, for me at least, the overall styling is a bit soft now. |

Can you Cerium Gray it out along with the rest of the gloss black trim pieces on the front? Should give a good representation of what the M50i version will look like next year.

The new X5 is 1.1 inches longer (194.3 inches); it rides on a 117.1-inch wheelbase, which grew 1.6 inches; and its 2.6 inches wider and slightly lower.
Not fun to park. |

Does anyone have any pictures of the M50d?

This thread has almost more pictures of other SUVs (that don't look even remotely like the X5) than of the X5 itself. How original you all are
I think it looks great, apart from the slightly unimaginative rear lights. The pre-lci e53 and the e70 remain as my favourites exteriorwise though. |

Dear BMW,
Thank you for doing... building... hmm... No! Thank you designing & creating your most beautiful car in the last 7 years! WOW! What a beauty, inside and out. There is not a single angle or view that is not beautiful on this N.B.: Thank you for doing away with the eye duct (Eye Caca) corners [Front lights non-stop connected to the kidney grill] in the facias of the new X2, X5 and also the 2 series. Looking forward to you also killing them on the 3 series, 5 series & 7 series. |

I agree ... the tail lights looked like it was styled by a Toyota designer.
What on earth is the sharp point doing there? Whatever happened to the smooth continuous curves?
