Ok... having a lift help a lot, I am doing mine from the floor, so it's much more difficult.

Not really IMO.

Glad you like it, now that I've seen it on other vehicles kind of glad I didn't do it. Not my cup of tea.

I want to do this, but I also don't want to be associated with the bro-dozer trucks that have multi-colored lights.

Any other pics at night?

Er, OK, the kit has arrived ... without instructions! I don't own a shop, or a lift, or even a screwdriver ... let's be honest, I don't have a clue how to install these

Ben, if I buy a spare set of your IS2000 front and rear brake pads (I'll need them soon as i like to drive the beast hard!) ... could I please receive the instructions for the fitment of these DRLs

Just had my car into the shop for these DRLs to be fitted, and the guys say I've been sent the wrong DRLs (they said they look like they are for an M3) ... see below - did yours look like these? They seem to be a completely different shape.

Thanks guys - I've sent that photo to my shop, and asked them to have a look and check they opened up the correct module.

Just to be clear, are the shapes of the existing ones the same as these replacements? (so they fit the holes) ... or maybe the US version is different to Euro?

Yes, the shape of the original/factory are the same as the replacements, and the holes line up. I'm not sure about us vs euro differences.

It sounds like they opened the wrong modules or the euro versions are different.

Circled in red is what I opened for my US spec x5.

Thanks for detailed explanations! Let's hope the euro version not different and they just opened wrong module, I have euro spec headlights now so I'm little concerned but since there is no difference in explanations on the seller's page I don't think they should be different, they send them all over the globe not only to US

EDIT: I just remembered that I used my own modules on Euro spec headlights (so I didn't need to code anything), this answers the question

No problem. Hope you get it figured out.

As others have mentioned, if you are doing this yourself it's probably best to remove the bumper versus trying to fit your hand in there.
