Is there anyway to code out start and stop in eco. I tried to do it on bimmercode but when I go from comfort back to eco it turns it back on. Any way to code it out in all modes ?

The ability to code out ASS was removed in 03/2023 and so far no one has been able to figure a way around it.

I had it coded out before it went to the dealership than they did an update witch I asked them not to and now I can't code it out. So the new update won't allow it? Wtf

Does this also mean with the new update I can't bench unlock my dme? Do I have to mail it to Finland now? Was going to go mhd or bm3

I'm not aware of it having any effect other than ASS. It is not like the LCI where coding is not available.

Sucks I hate the ass function. Thank you for all the help. Hopefully someone figures how to turn it off

I hate it too. The workaround is to code the default mode to sport.

I read sometimes that doesn't always work. I'll wait till they fix it. I want it off in all modes like it was before. I hate it so much.

BimmerCode needs to be updated with the most up to date base config files. He does this quite often but always expect things to be temporarily disabled after dealer updates the car for you ( they almost always use the latest available). Once Bimmercode pushes a config update ( you can check in the setti menu) , and it has the same base configs as your car then the greyed out ecus become available again

While correct as general information, it is not in regards to ASS and 03/2023 and beyond. The ability to code it has been changed by BMW and no tools are able to do it at this point.
