XM Review: Throttle House "throttles" the XM

Anyone even remotely compelled to switch? I am not. Raises red flags for me with the hybrid powertrain interoperability. I am now worried about the M5 touring coming out as it will likely have same setup (guessing).

Watched (most) of the TH review. I'm taking it with a grain of salt because their X5M review felt biased. However, it did seem to touch on what other YouTubers have said: the car doesn't seem to do anything really well and the $160K starting price is ludicrous.

I think they are spot on in their assessment of this car. It's expensive and really brings nothing notable to the table that doesn't already exist in the bmw lineup. The label red edition should be the regular edition and the price needs to be about 30k lower imo. Oh and no sunroof? Who thought that was a good idea?

With a model designation of XM, this should be a benchmark. The fact it’s slower than the X5MC is disappointing. Overpriced and too heavy. “Extrovert styling” F off with that crap.. if you have to justify your styling you did something wrong.

I’ve never been one of those “BMW lost its way” guys, but they need to fire their design team and (re-)hire Hyundai/Kia’s..
