G05 OEM Hitch - Red Brake Light

Has anyone found a nice fitting, square, break light that plugs into the 2" hitch?

Figured since it is already pre-wired, might be added safety to add another brake light.

Something that looks like this, but is tried & true by someone here. Looking for LED, nice cable management, and close to the same red brightness as the other brake lights.

TO get similar color and brightness you'd have to go with LED bulbs.

Amazon has a few. ONe thing to think about is that you might get a bulb out warning when it doesn't see any running lights. Many of them only have two wires, so the running lights would be open, and to the computer, look like a blown filament in a bulb.

not sure if this will happen also ... but usually the OEM BMW Trailer Wiring/Controller detects that something is plugged into the trailer electrical connection, and disables rear parking sensors automatically, so that there isn't obnoxious beeping and alerts, as well as rear collision mitigation as a trailer would be within a few inches of the rear bumper when attached to the G05

Yeah, this is a non-starter as far as I am concerned on the G0x — it's not worth disabling the multitude of driving and parking assistances when you plug that in for what really looks like a toy.
