Changing Full Merino Leather to Plastic

Hey guys, I have a question for you. Do you know if I can remove the white leather from the lower trim? I want to change it to black, if there is a black plastic as you choose extended merino package, then I would remove the leather from it instead of painting it. Anyone has ever tried to see what material or color is before the manufacturer uses the white leather? Thank you so much! I think the lower black trim should be the best!
