I am new to the BMW family and awaiting pickup of my '22 X6 X40i. I wanted to document my progress as I upgrade it. A few updates. Added Hamann Motorsports fender flares and front splitter and RGSport lowering links a while back. Sizing wheels at the moment. Looking to do a 23x11 square setup similar to Hamann specs. If anyone has done this already with either 22's or 23's, please feel free to comment. Looking for all the help I can get.

So I took a chance and purchased Dinan carbon fiber engine cover for my X6. Everything lined up perfect. Only difference is it doesn't have provisions to attach foam heat shield like stock cover. I just added some double sided tape to keep it in place. Otherwise it takes 5 minutes to install once you get the rubber grommets installed. It doesn't have indentation to install bmw emblem either. That would be my only gripe. I purchased from IND and it only took a few days to get to me. This should fit X5 as well I imagine. Or you can go with other brands as long as it fit G01 X3 (2020+ ONLY) / G02 X4 (2020+ ONLY) / G20 3-Series / G2X 4-Series / G29 Z4 / G42 2-Series B58 engines.
