Yep but......find me a thread that doesn't go off topic about 1/3--1/2 through.

Individual choice, that's why they have options.

They do improve synthetic every year, this one is better than last year.
+2 for Merino on an M60i.

Not smell. Not color. Not your opinion.

99% of the comments so far are off topic.
Love it ^. Finally somebody decided to keep people from moving off-topic.

I don't have personal experience with the different seats, but the leather could end up with salt stains, whereas the Sensafin likely would not. Now, not sure why you'd end up with salt on your clothes that much...feet, yeah, but not so much on your clothes, so the moisture would tend to evaporate, leaving little to deposit or stick around in the leather (but less on the Sensafin, where it's likely to be washed off the surface).

I’ve had both and slightly prefer leather for the smell but what I don’t like is being forced to take the Premium Package just to get leather seats. I could care less about HUD or gesture and remotes a cheap individual option.

The one question I have though is on a 2024 X3 40i do you need to select leather to get a nice leather dash and leather arm rests or do you revert back to the more rubbery stuff BMW uses in lower spec cars?
