This market is insane, BA dropped 30 in 2 days. It's a long term hold but it plays with my emotion a little too much sometimes.

I'm waiting on all the people who did not know about XSPA's R/S logging in this morning to their accounts and thinking they are "rich" when they see it around $5.00...and then selling it off (If their trading platform allows it).

If so...that is going to be a dip that is going to "ripe" for buying!

Got charged $38 for mandatory reorganization fee, didn’t know that was a thing.

Also, market is getting killed today.

A lot of good buys on the dip. UAVS, IBIO...those are the ones I'm after!

DO your own thing...but research these two and "know what you own!"

If anything, it's going to tank harder. Market been way too optimistic and overlooked the covid19 pandemic while these protests and riots were happening. Back to reality we go.

I'm basing it off of his trial data and they should eventually be back to where they were last summer. I'm in too deep with them at this point to just take an L, going to ride it out

We are not out the woods yet but after stock nose dived due to rona I was inches away from closing my managed account, would have lost tens of thousands. I want to thank my advisor Steve for talking me out of it.

PS if I am not mistaken they passed a law making it easier to withdraw from 401K...I wonder how many people pulled out and missed the market rally because they needed the money and/or panicked. Imagine losing your job and cashing your 401k right at the bottom of a huge dip...

Yeah, it blew up alright...

I sure hope you're not buying stocks yourself and is currently using a professional advisor.

Ok...I don't understand so help me out Rmtt - sounds like you are saying that these guys could see Xspa around $5.00 but that their trading platform wouldn't allow them to sell it at that price?

Why not, I don't understand? If the market is buying at $5, couldn't you sell around that price? What am I missing? Or is this pre-market where it looks like the price is $5, but when the market opens its actually $1.70 or something?

Confused.

Can you explain what’s wrong with buying stocks myself vs using a professional advisor? Curious to understand more.

Stock had a 3-1 reverse split last night. You have 1/3 the shares you had yesterday. That is why the price per share is higher.

What I was meaning that is a lot of people were going to wake up to a price that made them think they just "hit the lottery" because of the share price being so high.

They had no clue that a R/S was coming....which I wouldn't understand why not if they keep an eye on their investments.

So they would sell (some trading platforms are slower than others to convert the news) at a price that they thought was huge....but it would not change their position in the stock because they now own less.

People not knowing any better sell, and they basically lost their position if they planned on holding long term.

Then it's harder for them to get back in at their original average if the stock starts rising as now the "float" is lower.

But the way the market is going today...it may be a saving grace for them!

Because you failed to realised that xspa had a 3 to 1 split. The info is posted here and pretty much everywhere else. Things like this shouldn't and can't be overlooked when investing.

Oh, right, I totally forgot you mentioned that, I understand why you said that now though. I don't dabble myself, I guess if I did, I'd follow things more closely. But this is an entertaining thread and I enjoy reading it even though I'm not invested myself.
