Finally got it installed yesterday from dealership, it took technician around 5 hours to install it without removing the bumper . I ordered DRL with heat sink so i can keep OEM without removing them from heat sink and paste the yellow one. Looks extremely bright and deep yellow in reality, picture took from my phone doesn't show the real color.

Update: the turn signals threw error codes so I put the OEM outers back in. I reached out to Aliexpress about the issue but pretty sure I'm going to leave it as is - white outer and yellow inner. I read on the F97 forum of similar issue without resolution to date.

Same thing happened with me left DRL malfunction, left turn signal malfunctioning and i also reached out to ice driver and they gonna send a new replacement.

I assume it's much easier to pull the headlights... Looked at the driver side and said nope even for the top one

So finally i got my DRL checked and found out that the outer left side DRL board somehow broke and fell inside which caused all malfunctioning errors .ICEDRIVER the vendor of yellow DRL is keep saying I'll ship out new DRL tomorrow from last 7 days but no update yet.
So meanwhile the technician installed the stock DRL module for outer side , lights looks so weird so i turned off the DRL in idrive until i find a solution for replacement.

I ordered complete module for yellowDRL, i did not replace the board so when it stopped working i just swapped it with the OEM module i had .

Update:

Icedriver sent me the replacement of DRL modules with fast shipping and they are delivered in 4 days.
I wasn't expecting that much fast delivery lol,
I'm gonna get it installed soon.

It is possible to work by removing the module after removing only the wheel house.

I could not get tools on the torx bits to remove the modules on my 22 x5m..... I gave up after a few hours. not sure how others were able to do it with them in the vehicle.

Which dealership is this? Care to help me out with having your technician install mine? LOL. I have a set of RGB DRL's purchased from RGSport since January this year but realized that this was not possible to do by myself so did not go past opening up the fender liners.

I don't think I will ever install these on my own so I am also open to selling my kit to anyone else on here that wants it. They are unused and in the same box that they arrived in so will sell for the same price that I paid and will pay for shipping or local pick in SF Bay area.

Its better if you Message the seller before placing the order and give him car model info, color of DRLs you wand and let him know you want DRL’s with heatsinks .

Lol , i hope its easier to do in F95 because it's crazy to install those in G05.
Just make sure do press hard the drl boards during installation because the connector portion of the yellow DRL’s are very thin compared to OEM boards .
