I just had digital key update on samsung

Thought I would put that out there. There was an update to digital key just now 10/1/22 12pm

Which Samsung phone you got ? S22 Ultra included in the update note or something?

I saw this too. Unfortunately it asks you to put both of your keys inside car with you to link it. I was only given one key with my car. Ugh. Anyone know if there is a workaround?

Not sure about in US but in UK 2 keys is standard.

I have the Samsung 22 Ultra. I just setup my digital key and it was very easy. No issues. The phone now works similar to the key only you have to place it near the NFC device to start the car then you are good. Lock and unlock all the features are there. Yes the 2 keys with you when you set this up is standard. It copies both keys into the digital vault.

You might need to buy a 2nd key.. have it programmed then you can use the phone digital key. Your dealer should be able to help.

Do you have Samsung Wallet on your phone ? I'm still stuck with Samsung pay in Canada

Samsung wallet not available yet and I heard it's the reason why my S22 ultra not working.

yes I got the wallet and samsung pass. I think the key actually lives in the wallet after it syncs. I never use pay wallets but it holds my cars digital key it looks like.
