Ivory extended Merino/Anthracite Poplar matte trim

Just ordered my X5 yesterday. Black sapphire exterior.
Has anyone ordered red and received there G05 with the ivory leather and matte poplar trim. I’m a little worried it will scratch easily or look like an old stuffy persons car. I was really unsure about trim choice.
I don’t mind the fineline as it’s in my current X5 but wanted to change it up. Any pics you can post would be a great help!

I'm biased but the wife and I think it is the best looking trim available. I'm not sure there is any difference in durability but perhaps.

the matte trim doesn't scratch easily whatsoever. I'm very happy with the matte finish and wouldn't order it any other way

Which leather did you pair with the matte poplar?

I love the look of that ivory white merino! Has anybody had any experience with staining or wear? Genius I was talking with said the dealer could treat it and warrant it for 7 years. I didn’t get details but thought I would ask. Any insights would be appreciated!

Friends of mine who have the same ivory white interior told me it cleanes easily. Either with leather wash product from BMW or a small amount of “dreft” they said and it’s back to original state.

So I ordered full individual leather interior which is combo of white and black leather with the same trim as mentioned in this post

Hopefully a little cleaning will save it from the apocalypsbe. . Sorry, bad pun, but thanks for the info!

The ivory merino is easy to keep clean. White is a little more “honest” when it gets dirty but regular cleaning will keep it new. I took a family road trip for 2200 miles with young kids and my interior still looks new.
Check out Sonax leather cleaner and conditioner.

Thanks for the Sonax tip!
I’m curious, Did you go with the massaging seats? I keep reading mixed thoughts on whether or not they affect the overall level of comfort when the massage mechanism isn’t in use. I didn’t order them but still have time to make the change.

I think if you look at the posts from the folks who actually have them in their G05 X5 versus those commenting on other vehicles, the overwhelming (if not all) majority of responses would be that they are very comfortable and well worth the extra expense.
