Picking mine up next week. I've driven multiple cars with the air suspension and love it. Not as firm as the adaptive M, but that's not the point. I haven't driven IAS, but majority of reviews in this forum are positive.
Good luck, look forward to your review! |

Yep. All good and happy. Sport plus mode gives you much firmer feel than comfort mode. And even in comfort mode it will probably outhandle any other suv out there. Ais is awesome as well. Don’t pay attention to all nay sayers... it’s SUV after all. It’s silly to expect it to handle like M car. I will take my x5 over my M4 any day.

I've always hated IAS, had it once on my E90 and it ruined the experience for me. Just one persons two cents. I drove the base X5 and it handled and steered extremely well in that form. I didn't think the ride needed to be any softer than in it's standard comfort setting.

No regrets at all. Use "Sport individual" mode with steering and suspension set to Sport. Best of both worlds. |

40i, Air + IAS and it is great.
I was worried too given all the nay sayers. It is definitely different, but very comfortable and hunkers down in Sport mode. The IAS is fantastic as well, the car is ridiculously agile in parking lots, etc.
