There must be something wrong with me but I am fascinated by crash tests, I can watch the all day (and cars skidding on ice).
I think I wouldn’t want to be in the Audi though because of the way the back end kicked out instead of just kind of being pushed to the side.

Notice how in the Volvo it completely shears off the front wheel. Neither the BMW or Audi does that. I also noticed the shrapnel from the dome light coming down from the Volvo hitting the driver.

Keeping going might be optimal, minimizing the impulse, and less g's on the occupants. I wonder if Volvo designed their frame so that small overlap collisions redirect the car slightly laterally so the car doesn't stop dead, or whip lash around.
The detailed IIHS breakdowns has some highlights: HIC-15 for head trauma probability is higher for the X5 than the XC90 (114 vs 37). Footrest intrusion is larger for the X5 (12cm vs 2cm) Upper occupant space is maintained better in the X5 (1cm max vs 4cm max in the XC90 at the upper hinge pills) Other measured forces on the dummy body are all a bit higher in the X5 compared to the XC90. The Q5 looks to be the worst, large upper and lower compartment intrusion, higher forces on the head and body
