Turn off nightvision?
I really hate how nightvision keeps flashing the headlights at people walking at the sidewalk in town. It's great out in the open road but in town people think I'm crazy flashing at them.
Is there a way to turn it off?

I'm unsure if there is an easier way but since Night Vision in the US has that particular feature turned off, I'm sure it can be coded off.

Night Vision will work in the background wether you turn it on the iDrive screen or not. You'll still get pedestrian or animal alerts. What the OP was asking for is to turn off a feature we don't have in the US where the system (night vision and the adaptive lights) shines a light on the pedestrian when it 'sees' a pedestrian on a street at night. It's very slick and great for rual or suburban areas that are poorly lit. Unfortunately, it's not enabled by default in the US.

A start to figure the coding out would be for someone with and with someone without the flashing feature to provide their full set of coding files for comparison, including FA, SVT, and all NCD files. I don't have NV, so can't be either side, but can help to compare as time allows.
