Stuck Lid

Hello and thank you in advance.

I need ideas on how to open the lid after I left my wife’s wallet in there. Now will open about an inch only and I cannot feel the wallet.

Any ideas are much appreciated.

Sounds like the wallet needs to be shifted around a bit to keep it from blocking the lid from opening. Can you use a stick to move it around and maybe free the lid?

Nevermind, carefully I pushed a little harders and the lid folded the wallet and open.
