Is it normal to get a shower when opening the boot/trunk whilst it's raining or has rained? It always happens on the edge of the boot/trunk, mainly on the left but noticed it on the right today.
It's really frustrating, it is cold enough as it is, getting unnecessarily wet ....

I could have swore this was an upgrade option, of coarse I did not purchase it.


I have not owned an SUV/SAV with rear gate that didn't get me wet while opening in the rain. But I have not owned many!!! I just assumed that it is part of having to be under the trunk when getting access. I just consider it normal.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing the obvious like a blockage somewhere which was easy to clear.
