GPS possition off

My gps position is off all of a sudden. Is there a trick to reset it back to current position

Navigation and speed limits are confused because of that

Used to be you have to drive 8 s in the parking lot to resenter. Anyone had that?

I recently had that issue, it fixed itself after restarting the iDrive system by pressing and holding the volume button.

Did many reboots. but the GPS is still off.

Map updates wont load either.
Might be time for a dealer visit .
Full year of no real issues. this is the first that did not go on its own.
There must be a trick to reset the system.
