2019 vs 2020 X5 "key" differences:

- MSRP is more, I think $750 in US, in Canada + $1,500
- SensaTech dash (in some cases already on 2019)
- Drive Recorder
- Some additional features in iDrive programming 1) Assisted Driving view shows surrounding cars 2) Can select to stop car before hitting obstacle in the rear / front / side (someone suggested 2020 has enhanced sensors so possibly some different hardware / electronics)

Otherwise same car so you need to decide if above matters to you and make some financial considerations: discounts vs less car depreciation in the future 2019 vs 2020

Absolutely love it, I plan to tune it. once tuned will have more hp and trq then the M at 30k less. So the M is nice but is it 30+K nice ? I dont think so
I was going to buy a 2019 X5 50i but put it off because my wife and I were expecting our 2nd born and didnt want any distractions. Just put in an order for a M50i at only 5k more than what I negotiated for the 2019 50i.
my sticker was 97,655 I was able to get 14k off. it took several days of negotiations to do it but it happend.

Yeah, that's a great deal. For the 2019, I was able to negotiate about 10% off of a $98k sticker - that was with incentives - and without shopping the deal to any other dealers. So that's what I was shooting for with my 2020 build. Was able to get $9k off from two dealers, and decided to go with the dealer right by my house. The other dealer offered $10k after that, but that was after I already committed to the first dealer. I didn't feel right going back on my word for the extra $1k.
I also wanted to establish the relationship with the dealer that I'll be servicing my car with.
