Haven't noticed, but tonight and tomorrow it will be cold enough +3F outside right now, should be -18F +/- by morning with a high around +2F tomorrow. Should know, hasn't done that since the software update.

I also have a steering issue but it is only on the highway. The car seems to be "shifting" slightly to the right while the steering wheel is dead straight.

Haven’t had the steering issue since, I *think* that addressed that issue.

Any chance your software update is prototype?
I'll ask if the update is prototype if/when I hear from them today. The steering issue is noticeably worse the colder the temps, but my steering starts acting up right around 0C if its left outside for a few hours. My guess is the 'fix' should certainly encompass anything warmer than -15C if it corrects anything below that temperature.
Anybody can confirm if BMW actually fix this issue?

The fix was supposed to be in 07/2019.xx and so far it seems like anyone who has updated to at least that is not having the issue.

I have no clues how others have responded to this thread but I get weird steering corrections when I put the system to Driving Assistance mode and it starts sway left and right as if I am drunk driver!

That's not what this thread is about, even if true. We should keep it on topic. The thread is about unassisted steering feel, narrowed down earlier to low temperatures.

Obviously not how the system is designed or works for others. You should take it in to your dealer and have them check it out. Probably a bad camera. The system keeps the car very steady in the center of the lane when I use it. Good luck.

FreddyBMW, I had the same gripe, but it seems like the 11/2019.xx update helped polish it...if that is even possible?!

Also, try customizing SPORT INDIVIDUAL to everything at the lowest level, but keep the steering at SPORT. The wheel in comfort has always felt like driving a big rig.

just picked up our 2021 m5 comp and its doing the exact same thing as mentioned. Will set up an appointment, hopefully its as simple as an update flash.

Edit. Went on a long drive today by myself and mess with the sports settings. Well.. I'm not in the believe in confirm its just to soft for the body/suspension/tires/wheels setup. Its as if you need to be in the highest suspension/steering settings to work with the over size wheels and low profile tires etc.. Personally I think it drives the best in that setting. The body rock its just because of the mass size of this thing. I'm starting to really enjoy it more and more.

Hi, I noticed this thread has not been updated for a while. I have the exact same issue as discribed in my 2019 X5 after a realy cold night.
Is there now a known solution to this issue? I would like to point it out to my dealer....
