It's more shadowline grey than black.

Thank you for the assist and part number. I would like to have it match the shadowline trim around the windows and the gloss black grill. Is there an OEM gloss black one like on X7 or would I have to have it painted?

I’m quite sure you’d have to have it wrapped or painted black. I’m still considering that, or perhaps painting it my body color CBM. The factory dark grey is the same on every M Sport G05, but IMO matches/blends with none.

Unfortunately you'll have to have it repainted - paint code is Dark Shadow WB-27 or you could look into this:

Hello, did you have this painted or wrapped? I am dealing with the same issue and really hate the shadow line dark grey that does not match at all with the rest of the vehicle. Thank you!
