I don't see the option to start the car via app or set up android digital key when I go to BMW Connected app and hit the menu button. Do I need to do something for these to be available?

"Departure Climate Timer" under "Remote" for the start option, and only runs for 15 minutes. Digital key I thought needed to be set up by dealer....

Make sure you allow remote starting in the Climate Control menu.

For iPhones there is a Climatize Now button on the remote tab and icons for locking and unlocking.

Thanks, I see climatize now option on my phone.
My dealer never mentioned setting it up at pick up, can I go to any dealer to set up the phone key?

I checked my inbox and turns out there is an email how to set the digital key for iPhone but nothing about Android:

Digital key for Android was dropped on 7/20 as far as I know.

Now I remember reading something about this. Hopefully they can bring it back for Android 11 if this was security issue.
