I'd like to address one of my comments that turns out to be inaccurate, at least on Canadian 11/2019.40 car ...

... if you have the steering wheel auto heat coded per above, remote start (climatize with engine on) actually DOES turn the steering wheel heating on during climatize! It is really quite nice to get into a warmed car with a hot steering wheel ready to go. Seats still don't pre-heat.

I have a 2020 X7 40i and am NOT currently doing any coding on my vehicle.

I have the heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and arm rest options with the multi-contour seats.

I believe there is an option under "Heated Seats" to also turn on the heated steering wheel when the heated seats are turned on. I know for sure you can turn on the heated arm rests when you turn on the heated seats. I was looking around at a bunch of settings today and am pretty sure I saw the heated steering wheel option when heated seats are turned on.

I can check tomorrow if anyone wants verification.

I noticed if I schedule a start time for my X5, the car is actually starting 10 minutes earlier than scheduled time. How do I fix that? I assume there is some internal time that is off? Thxs

It’s freezing here in MN and yesterday I remote started my 2022 X3 M40i twice. Both times the car started as did my steering wheel heat. The seat heat did not go on.
