Labor Cost to Install MSS Springs

I'm ordering these springs for my 21 X5M competition.

Got a quote for $1950 including alignment from a known BMW shop in the area, they said it takes a day and a half to put them in, the price is basically the same as putting in a full Coilover system, does that sound right? they said they have to take the entire suspension including shocks out for the installation.

Like you I live in a high-rent district and got a similar quote. So, doesn't sound outrageous to me, assuming it includes a quality post-install alignment.

I paid $700 for the install. $1950 is too expensive for install ONLY and alignment.

Reviving an old thread to see if anyone had a reputable shop recommendation for the northern Virginia area for MSS install and upper arms.

I saw the note above about Quality Tire and Brian actually put the lowering springs in my Trackhawk but said he couldn’t do the X5M.

I also contacted RRT which is one of the main go-to shops for BMWs in the area but they want $3k for the install which seems steep…

Hoping to see what other options are out there.

I’m also in the NYC area and just got my MSS springs, I’m in the process of looking for a reputable shop for the install. Can tell the name of the shop that did your install? Thanks in advance.

I thought that was including the price of the springs... That’s way too much.

I paid around the same 1800 for spring install upper control arms and alignment. Install took a day and a half at a reputable BMW tuner shop in MA.
