Does anyone know when the facelift x5 will start production?

Are these already being produced? I’m confused someone said they aren’t out yet and I’m about to place an order so I wondered if mine would be built with the lci

Prototype, yes, for mass production no. Unfortunately I am not sure when they will go to mass production, but ad MY changed on summer this days, my guess is 2023 summer. But I am not a credible source!

The confusion, I think, comes to BMW saying the LCI will be 2023...that's the PRODUCTION start, not the model year. The 2023 MY (as defined in the USA, not the same everywhere) is essentially the same as it has been since it was introduced. April 2023 is when it's scheduled to start production, and you might start to see deliveries in May 2023, depending on where you live. FWIW, April for the start of a new MY is early for BMW, which normally starts later in the spring or early summer, with typical first deliveries in late summer/early fall.

based on the production date of April or later, I don't think you order will be a facelift if you place it now.
The facelift ones will be 2024 MY and should arrive at dealter Q3 2023, my guess.

Has anyone been able to confirm that this update will be plagued or not with the new IDRIVE 8.0 glass dash panels?

Garage List
I think it's confirmed the LCI will have iDrive 8 and the large, flat screen

My understanding also about the iDrive 8. Hoping to hear some official HP/TQ #s for the S58 V8s slated for the M60is with a mild hybrid bump. The auto press has guestimates all ove the board on that one.

The HP will be similar to what it is now. It will be the same as the X7 M60i. It is the S68 not S58.

Correct, S68 is the V8 designator. Was just reading about the S58 inline 6. What a bad ass engine that is and can be bumped over 1,000 HP on the stock forged rotating assembly for drifting, racing etc.
