Powdercoating Calipers - Anyone done it?
Has anyone powdercoated their plain calipers?
I have a 19 x5 xDrive50i mSport with plain silver calipers, thinking of powdercoating them to the mSport Blue since my car is blue. Please let me know if anyone has pictures |

Just make sure they reconnect everything correctly so you don't end up like this.

I've done this on a different car. There are surfaces that should be completely masked off so they don't get painted. I did the removal, dissassembly, reassembly, bleeding, etc myself so the cost was under $400 for 4 calipers. I imagine full service would be well over $1K so it probably isn't worth it.

You also have the option to wrap them. I have not done it myself but I saw it at a local wrap place while I was getting some chrome parts wrapped. The place said it can take the heat, of course if you track your car I would not suggest the wrapping option.
