Annoying “Services Updated” Everytime I Get In the Truck!

Every single time I get in my vehicle for the last 3 weeks or so, I get the same message stating “Services Updated... New services under data privacy”. I navigate to the area and look to try to somehow hope the vehicle sees I understand then it appears the next time. This goes on forever and will never go away on start up. I have coded our warnings at startup, but it doesn’t fix anything. Am I the only one having this non stop and how do I get rid of it?

I've been seeing this too the past few weeks and it's a mystery to me as well.

Sorry, off topic a bit. Why do we call the G05 a "truck" (see topic). I'm a first time SUV driver and not so familiar with the terminology in the SUV world. Thanks

OP, I think you're getting that message due to interference from Kim Jung-un.

Assuming you've gone to Car -> settings -> general settings -> data privacy and have the top option checked?

The only way I can get rid of it is to turn off the software updates. That stops the message from coming in. Outside of that, I cannot get it to go away.

I choose the individual options specifically.

I got the same message the other day, I just hit OK acknowledging it and it went away. I'm on 07/2019.71 (latest OTA update).

After checking my Apps list, noticed the Auto-window App suddenly appeared - which seriously has to be one of the most useless Apps ever conceived by mankind. I am guessing an auto "super size me" or "yes I'd like fries with that" is from the car's speakers is next...
On a serious note, I wish BMW would focus on more useful features things like getting as something as simple as Digital Key or Remote Engine start working from our phones properly. Hell even Ford and Hyundai have got that one working...

Try rebooting iDrive7 by holding the volume key down for 30 secs. That seems to be the BMW equivalent of "have you rebooted your modem" when you call your ISP....
