Uploaded photos always upside down or sideways?

Wondering what I'm doing wrong. Every time I try to upload photos they're upside down or sideways... any tips? Thanks

When your photos exceed the max horizontal width or vertical height, vBulletin will rotate them to fit those dimensions.

For example, when you upload a portrait sized image from your mobile device and the height exceeds 1600px, the it will rotate the image sideways.

Ah, okay...thanks for the explanation. I didn't study the chart or check the photos' dimensions. I'll reduce their size and try again.

What i do is i rotate all of my pictures and save them again even if they do not look like they need to be rotated. I use the Preview app on my Mac to rotate and save. Whenever i do that the pictures are loaded in the correct orientation. It is like the orientation provided by my phone is not being recognized but saving it on my Mac fixes it.

I actually had to do that exact thing with the first set of photos. Probably the easiest way to resize them. The file sizes are very large right off the iphone.
