Is it possible to adjust the angle that the mirrors tilt down to when going in reverse? My Grand Cherokee used to allow you to change it in reverse and it would save. Is there a setting I’m missing?

It is not a native setting but can be done by coding. Here are the values Bimmecode is able to do.

Not sure if it's the same on the GC but on my Mercedes if you adjust the mirror while it's tilted down in reverse it would save that orientation. So you could tilt down and away from the car or down and towards the car to suit your preference. Maybe the GC works the same way.

Don't mean to hijack this thread. My G06's side mirrors don't tilt downward when I put it in reverse. How do you set that? I have the 360 degree camera view though.

Make sure the mirror button is pushed to the driver's side, that enables the tilt-down.

That's a shame, I really thought this was an option in BMW. Maybe I am confusing it with my current Q7, which allows you to set it, but I kinda feel like my F15 did that?

yeah, I found it tilt too low as well. On one hand, I like it tilted because I have a rock garden right next to my drive way leading to the entrance of my drive way. Tilting the passenger side mirror will allow me to allow me to acoide clipping the tires on the rock garden. On the other hand, I need to aim the garage entrance

What Merc is doing making sense. I hope newer software will allow G05 to do this as well
