Air Suspension not back to normal height after lowered one level down

Hello Everyone

just kind curious I did manually lower -20mm at comfort mode
after drove for a while at comfort mode and never exceed 70km
even the car is in parked and did restart the engine the while the level control still indicate that the air suspension is in -20mm setting

is that supposed need to be back to normal height +/- 0

please help

Thanks a lot

That is normal, it will stay at the lower level until you switch drive modes, raise it manually, open your tailgate or remote start (last two being "features"). I use Adaptive as default and lower mine. I only have to lower it again if I remote start or open the tailgate.

That is good, then you are not being affected by the bug.

Also happy to know more about the bug. I have talked to my dealer about the car changing ride height sponaniously.
When I get out i often set the car to its lowest setting for my kids to be able to get in and out more easily (3 and 5yr olds)
Sometimes after opening a door, or indeed maybe the trunk, the car goes back to its normal middle level.

Perhaps this is part of the bug you are referring to.
I drive a 45e with the latest software.

As has been mentioned, the vehicle goes to normal height after opening the tailgate or remote starting. We have been calling it a "feature" or bug in the other threads where it has been discussed but it very well could be by design. It also can be dependent on coding since many have changed the default drive mode.

Edit: I should add that it is likely the height goes up after closing the tailgate not when it is just opened. At least I have never noticed it changing right after it was opened and don’t think others have reported that either. So for accuracy the “feature” is when the tailgate is opened and closed.

Your vehicle seems to be operating exactly as one would expect it too.

Normal height as in actually going up in height instead of going down when tailgate is opened?

Remote start is OK because I think car should go back to normal height for safety reasons, especially if it was left at higher level for some reason, like getting out of low ceiling garage, you don't want it sitting too high.

The default height that is used for comfort mode is what I’m referring to as normal. The height does not drop when you open the tailgate, that must be done by hitting the button.
