Roof Rack for X5
Looking for roof rack options for our 2019 X5. Is Thule the best option or stay with BMW's OEM? Any wind noise?
Thanks in advance. |

I looked over the thread and there doesn't seem to be a consensus on which is better. Seems like sometimes there is wind noise and other times there isn't which could be dependent on how you mount the rack?
If you go with Thule or BMW, is it better to buy the same brand's bike rack/ski rack? |

the consensus is no matter what racks you have if you add attachments to the roof racks you will 100% get some sort of wind noise. However just the roof rack cross bars like I stated in the thread the OEM ones which I have personally have not produced any wind noise that I can hear so far.
as far as matching crossbars and accessories I dont think it matters. they are all basically the same thing.
